Why coding requires humilty

"This should just work"
"I can't get it wrong"
"This freakingly simple piece code doesn't require any testing"

And many more variations of this statement scream only one thing - arrogance of programmer. This kind of arrogance is counter-productive. Minor errors slip through causing damage, waste of time and energy. Worse, they do maximum amount of damage to the ego.

It helps to be humble while coding. Especially, when something not working.
